It has been an extremely hectic couple of weeks with keepers’ day, beaters’ days, employees’ days, tenants farmers’ days and the odd extra day squeezed in. I don’t think I have ever eaten so many sausage rolls and soups before. After a short rest it will be straight into training ready for next season.

2025 was a year of many highs and lows, the breed has continued to maintain a steady level, entries at Championship Shows with absentees averaged around 20, the exceptions being Crufts and The Club Show. Of course  a new treasurer and the finances are recovering.
